Cafe Astoria Side Hustle started as exactly that—a pop-up side gig aimed at keeping our people employed during these difficult times. With patios rolled up, we needed to do something to keep our team moving, and we needed more space for our customers. Lucky for us restaurateur Eddie Wu, owner of COOK SAINT PAUL, invited us into his place on Payne Avenue for the next three months.
